Space and air travel have increased activity in alternative fuels. On March 31, NASA will unveil a new, greener fuel for space travel at a media preview on March 31 at Ball Aerospace & Technologies in Boulder, CO.

Toyota Reveals Prius Prime Plug-In Hybrid with Twice the EV Range of Previous Prius Plug-In

Toyota recently revealed its newest addition to the Prius family of hybrid cars – the Toyota Prius Prime plug-in hybrid. The Prime offers twice the electric driving range as the previous Prius Plug-In and a total driving range of over 600 miles including a fully charged battery and a full tank of gas.

UPS Invests $100 Million in Alternative Fuel Vehicle Fleet

UPS recently announced plans to build an additional 12 compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations and add 380 new CNG tractors to its growing alternative fuel and advanced technology fleet. The CNG fueling stations and vehicle purchases totaling $100 million are part of UPS’s ongoing commitment to diversify its fuel sources and reduce its environmental impact.
