Natural gas vehicle training is one of the most requested by members of the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium and provides participants with the training to properly inspect and repair natural gas fuel systems and storage tanks.
Participants from across the United States gathered at the NAFTC headquarters in Morgantown, WV recently to complete the consortium’s Light-Duty Natural Gas Vehicle train-the-trainer course. Many participants continued the week to attend a second train-the-trainer course on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Vehicle Fuel System Inspector.

Both the three-day Light-Duty Natural Gas Vehicle course and the two-day Natural Gas (CNG) Vehicle Fuel System Inspector train-the-trainer are a combination of classroom and hands-on training.
The courses were taught by NAFTC Instructor, Mark Schmidt. “The participants learned a ton, and they are looking forward to returning to their schools with the knowledge and skills they gained during the courses to share with their students,” said Schmidt.
