The fourth installment of National Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Day Odyssey, a biennial celebration dedicated to promoting AFVs and advanced technology vehicles, is right around the corner, and now is the time for you to get involved. Odyssey 2008 will be held on Friday, October 3, and we are actively seeking Odyssey site coordinators, partners, and sponsors. Odyssey is a unique opportunity to reach millions of people through site events held across the country, and the world, as well as through media coverage. This event unites individuals as everyone on the same day can learn about the importance of AFVs and advanced technology vehicles and the role they play in achieving cleaner air and energy independence!

In 2006, sixty sites hosted Odyssey events in the United States, Canada, and Germany. Nearly forty thousand attendees were able to take part in activities such as ride-and-drives, educational seminars, and AFV/advanced technology vehicle training workshops, while being provided with numerous networking opportunities. In addition, Odyssey’s message reached more than 30 million individuals through media coverage. As a 2008 Odyssey site coordinator, partner, or sponsor, you can share in the success of this important event!
