A West Virginia native, Julie Whiteman joins the NAFTC team as Odyssey Event Manager. She comes to the NAFTC from the Office of Student Life, a division of Student Affairs at West Virginia University (WVU), where she served as the program manager for more than five years. In that role she was responsible for program development and implementation, managing the daily operations of the office of off-campus student services, and working with both city and university officials on a wide variety of issues. Additionally, she was employed by University Health Associates for two years as a planning specialist in the Department of Planning and Strategic Initiatives. Julie received her M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from WVU in August 2005.
Matt Miller Intern
Matt Miller recently joined the NAFTC as a temporary intern to assist in the coordination of the Odyssey 2006 event. He is currently in his junior year at WVU and is majoring in Management Information Systems. Matt spends his summers in his home town of Freehold, New Jersey. Last summer he worked with All-Shore Forwarders importing and exporting vehicles, furniture, and other personal effects, where the majority of vehicles shipped internationally were shipped by ocean. Matt transported a great deal of armored vehicles; racecars; and classic, antique, and collector vehicles (often valued in excess of $1 million) via airfreight as well. Matt is very excited to join the NAFTC team.
