The NAFTC Communications Department has added another Graduate Assistant to the team. A native West Virginian, Kara Alderson is originally from Charleston, West Virginia. She is currently in the Master of Industrial Relations Program in the WVU College of Business and Economics. Kara completed her undergraduate degree in May of 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis on Business Communications. After spending two years as a Public Relations Intern for the WVU Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, Office of the Dean, she brings a great deal of experience to the Consortium. Ultimately, Kara would like to work in labor relations in West Virginia.
Joining the Curriculum Development Department of the NAFTC from Grantsville, West Virginia, is Eric Underwood. Eric has graduated from both the WVU Parkersburg (WVU-P) and WVU Main campuses. He holds an Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, a Bachelors Degree in Applied Technology, a Masters Degree in Technology Education. Eric is applying for the West Virginia University, Doctorial Program in Education Leadership. While working at the NAFTC, Eric will be assisting with the development of curricula for alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles.
